As a graphic designer under Sunday Studio,I was tasked to elevate Bata Philippine’s Social Media Content by refreshing their visuals to more lifestyle photos and less sale posters.
About Bata Philippines
Bata (The Bata Corporation) is one of the leading worldwide footwear corporations from Switzerland. It was established in 1894 by Tomas Bata, and his family who have been cobblers for generations. Bata Shoes are tried and tested to last for a long time, and keep your every step comfortable.
The Process
One of the main considerations in crafting Bata’s Social Media Content is to still keep them in line with the Materials from Bata Global. That meant expanding from using the global templates (and editing them to feature local stock products) to creating our own materials that still visually looked in line with Bata Global’s visuals. Another challenge was as this was at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdowns, we had to be creative in photomanipulation to still make the materials look good and believable despite not having the time and avenues to do new photoshoots for product photos.
